Location: Inner-East – 37 Little Queen St, Thebarton
Five minutes away from the city and just past Mister Sunshine’s, it can be a bit tricky to find Entropy as it is tucked away amongst industrial buildings. The cafe is cool in that it is actually in an old railway shed which is quite spacious and open.
I had my usual conundrum of whether to get a big breakfast or pancakes, so I got both! The Big Batch breakfast (pictured) came with 2 poached eggs, bacon, chorizo, mushrooms, sautéed spinach and ciabatta and I added a potato rosti, a combination which I really enjoyed. The coconut honey pancakes were also yum and interesting as I as I wasn’t a coconut flakes in the batter but they tasted delicious, combined with the yoghurt and berries on top.
I didn’t realise they had South American items like Jerk Chicken, Jambalaya and an amazing sounding beef burger on their lunch menu which would be cool to try next time!
